This book selects twelve Zaju and more than twenty Sanqu from Guan Hanqing's existing works. There are two main criteria for selection: first, it can be confirmed to be Guan's work; second, it is artistically distinctive and has a greater impact. For the collation of the Zaju part of this book, "Moon Worship Pavilion" and "Tiao Feng Yue", only the "Thirty Types of Yuan Period Zaju" remains, "Single Sword Club" and "Fei Yi Meng" are based on the proofreading of Mai Wangguan, and the other editions are based on the "Selected Songs of the Yuan Dynasty". Except for special circumstances, school records are generally not published. Notes should be kept concise and the original text should not be quoted. Some important words are highlighted for the convenience of readers.
