In 1888, Spain held its first Universal Exposition. Daniel, a young professor in the Latin Department of Oxford University, returned to Barcelona after seven years of absence after learning of the death of his father. At the funeral, a reporter told Daniel that his father did not die of natural causes. In order to find the truth, Daniel followed the reporter to investigate, but unknowingly fell into an extremely dangerous situation.
