牛津通识读本:现代拉丁美洲文学(中文版)
(usa)roberto Gonzalez Echeverría
In the 1960s, a group of Latin American writers such as Borges and García Márquez began to gain popularity around the world, but few people know the literary tradition that nourished these writers. "Modern Latin American Literature" successfully makes up for this shortcoming by developing a wide range of literary themes from the late 18th century to the present day. Latin American literature realized its literary mission to Latin America and the world as a whole in moments of political crisis, such as the War of Independence, the Spanish-American War, the Mexican Revolution, and the Cuban Revolution. Within this narrative framework, writers such as Andres Bello, José María Heredia, Borges, García Márquez, Fernando Vallejo, and Bolaño and their works have also been fully analyzed and discussed.
