"Poor white trash" is a common derogatory term for poor white people in American English. In order to analyze the current social ecology of the United States, political and cultural scholar Nancy Eisenberg used a large number of historical facts to outline the social status and image of the lower class white people over the past four hundred years, truly restoring the social life history of this group that has been ignored for a long time, and calling on the public to face the poverty and hidden class issues of the lower class white people.
