The original work of the high-scoring classic movie "River River", made famous by Brad Pitt. "Compared to Thoreau and Hemingway", McLean, a professor at the University of Chicago, has been a best-selling literary classic in the United States for more than 40 years. Fudan scholar Professor Lu Gusun devoted himself to translation in his later years, and the combination of East and West created an elegant event in the literary world that traveled through time and space. Norman MacLean, a literature professor at the University of Chicago, wrote a collection of autobiographical novellas called "Love on a River" when he was in his seventies. It consists of three novellas: "Love on a River", "Lumberjack and Pimp "Partner Jim"" and "U. S. Forest Service 1919". It was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in 1977. Among them, the theme story "River Love" is the most famous: in his twilight years, MacLean came to the ancient Big Mud Leg River and recalled the scene of the two brothers fishing with their old father. The past was like a river flowing through the water, leaving readers with a meaningful and meaningful philosophy of life. The other two novellas are also based on the author's own experience, telling the story of the protagonist's work and life in a logging camp and the Forestry Bureau. The style is tough, the language is poetic, and there is a strong and distinctive western color, creating a "new classic" in the history of American literature.
