While performing a top-secret diving mission, Jonas Taylor, an experienced Navy deep-sea submersible pilot, made an operational error that resulted in the deaths of two fellow scientists. No one believed Jonas's story of "encountering a prehistoric megalodon". After narrowly escaping from death, he was expelled from the Navy and was diagnosed with stress-traumatic disorder. The disgraced Jonas stayed away from the deep sea and devoted himself to the study of "paleontology", trying hard to prove the existence of the megalodon to the world. A few years later, Jonas seized an opportunity to return to the depths of the trench and decided to dive back to the bottom of the trench to find evidence of the existence of prehistoric beasts! However, as they explored deeper at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, they discovered a new prehistoric world and also alarmed the prehistoric giant megalodon.
