Planetary Wonderland
General Fiction行星奇境
(us) Stanley Weinbaum
Weinbaum's first novel, "An Adventure on Mars," was published in the July 1934 issue of Strange Stories. The story follows an astronaut's journey on the surface of Mars, accompanied by the fearful Martian Ter. This novel is beautifully written and humorous. And the aliens on Mars are real aliens, and Ter is a truly believable non-human character. Weinbaum has been praised as the first science fiction writer to write literary and intelligent science fiction. For the next two years, Weinbaum's stories flowed from his typewriter at home in Milwaukee to the pages of Strange Stories and Amazing Stories, and then stopped.
