This book is a comprehensive introduction to the "Black Hawk" helicopter. As one of the main persons in charge of the "Black Hawk" project, the author comprehensively introduces through personal experience how Sikorsky participated in the competition for the "Black Hawk" project, how it modified the design to meet military requirements, a series of design modifications made to the "Black Hawk" helicopter during the test flight, and the use of the "Black Hawk" helicopter by the U. S. Military and international customers.
