Shakespeare Questions: an Outline for the Study of Representative Repertories

(us) Odell Shepherd

127K0

This book is an academic work published in 1916 by American scholar Odell Shepard (1884-1967) on the study of 17 of Shakespeare's most representative plays. This work does not criticize the narrative, but closely follows the content of the script and raises thought-provoking questions. Later, there is hidden exploration and guidance of the author's plot structure; subtle attention to character relationships and character psychology; and so on. It is almost rare in the academic world to come across such an academically enlightening work that does not raise questions or answer questions. The huge academic thinking power hidden behind it is conducive to cultivating readers' habits of multi-dimensional thinking and leading the study of Shakespeare to an intensive depth.
