(us) Lian Xinda

114K0

This book is a study of Xin Qiji's poetry by foreign scholar Lian Xinda. The author proposes to put aside Xin Qiji's halo as a "patriotic poet" and through textual analysis of Xin's poetry, find the "arrogance" and "rebellion in his heart" in his temperament, and reveal how Xin's poetry shows his "rebelliousness" under the "gentle and honest" poetic tradition. The book is divided into four chapters. It conducts an in-depth exploration of Xin Qiji's person, his words, and the significance of his words in literary history. It finally restores to us the rare expression of Xin Qiji - "a unique and unique personality" - in the Chinese poetry tradition, which is true and full of power. Different from the previous evaluation system that was deeply influenced by Confucian ethical values, this book focuses on Xin Qiji's unique personality and his strong self-awareness in his poems. Combining the author's life, philosophical thoughts, creative concepts and trends, it conducts an in-depth analysis of the word choice, intention, allusions, composition, etc. Of some representative poems, and then examines the value and significance of the artistic features of Xin Qiji and his works in the history of the development of Chinese poetry. This book is not a biography in the strict sense, but a unique piece of literary criticism.
