Thor the Bear King
General Fiction熊王托尔
(us) James Oliver Curwood
"Thor the Bear King" is a novel describing animals in the North American wilderness. In the story, the bear king Thor is the king of the valley in northern Canada. Later, he meets and accepts a little bear who lost his mother. Two bears, one big and one small, depend on each other. Hunters Langdon and Bruce came to the valley and the little bear was captured alive. In the pursuit and escape, Thor met the hunter Langdon. Thor roared and threatened Langdon, but finally spared the seemingly pale and weak human. After Langdon survived, he had an epiphany about life, gave up the hunt, and released the cub free.
