This book is a black comedy novel co-written by Robert Louis Stevenson and Lloyd Osborne. It tells the bizarre story of a wooden box containing a corpse that was exchanged and delivered to the wrong person. It was first published in 1889. In order to get their second uncle Joseph's Donte pension insurance, Morris and John took care of him and hoped that he would live long. However, the second uncle Joseph couldn't stand this restrictive life and took advantage of a train accident to escape. The Morris brothers mistakenly identified a corpse and thought that the second uncle was dead, so they put the body in a large barrel and transported it home in an attempt to block the news and create the illusion that the second uncle was not dead. Unexpectedly, the body was exchanged during transportation and pushed around by different people.
