"Diary of a Little Man" is named after the diary of a clerk named Charles Purtell. It is actually a work of fiction. It was first serialized in the humor magazine "Punch" and later compiled into a book. The protagonist, Charles Putel, is a small employee in a company. He is diligent and conscientious, but he also lives a contented life: he has settled in a new home in the suburbs; his boss takes good care of him; his wife also likes him; and he also has two neighborhood friends who have a good relationship. Complacent with his ambition, Lao Pu began to write a diary. Of course, the parents were short-lived and had nothing new under the sun.
