After a long journey, the Doctor and Donna returned to Earth and to Donna's long-lost home. This is a bittersweet return, mixed with a hint of mystery and ominousness: the mother is restless because of loneliness; the grandfather is busy discovering asteroids while taking care of a confidante whom he hates to meet so late; there is also a mysterious man who uses psychic paper to deliver messages, which plunges the doctor into a strange rescue. All this seems to be pulling the world into a future full of conspiracies and surging undercurrents - but what makes the doctor most uneasy is the crazy flashing chaotic body in the universe...
