Letty, Xiaowei and Defen are the fourteenth generation of the Art family. The history of the Art family is glorious enough - there was a Nobel Prize winner and Germany's first female doctor of chemistry. Their family once lived next to Einstein and had a close relationship with Marie Curie... But now the three Art sisters live in an old apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Several generations of the Art family have lived in this apartment, but the strange thing is that each generation cannot die happily.
