On November 27, 1895, the famous Swedish inventor and chemist Nobel wrote his will and donated all his property, totaling approximately 31.22 Million Swedish kronor, to establish a fund. The interest will be used as a bonus every year to be awarded to "the person who has made the greatest contribution to mankind in the past year." In this year, according to Nobel's will, the Swedish government established the Nobel Foundation, establishing the Physics Prize, the Chemistry Prize, the Physiology and Medicine Prize, the Literature Prize, and the Peace Prize, and awarded them with the annual interest or investment income of the fund to those who made significant contributions to mankind in these fields in the previous year.
