The two ancient oriental civilizations, India and China, have representative "monkeys" in their classical literature. The Indian monkey is "Hanuman" in the famous epic "Ramayana", and the Chinese monkey is "Sun Wukong" in the famous mythological novel "Journey to the West". Indian and Chinese monkey stories have also spread to Thailand and are deeply loved and respected by Thai people. This book starts from the two aspects of folk circulation and text circulation, takes the influence of the two divine monkeys in Thai society and culture as a clue, and focuses on the current situation of mutual communication. It conducts a comparative study of Indian Hanuman, Thai Hanuman and "Chinese Hanuman" - Sun Wukong, in order to find the trajectory of their image evolution.
