This book is based on "Dongpo Yuefu" in Zhu Xiaozang's "Qiangcun Series" (this is an earlier chronicle of Dongpo's Ci), and contains more than 340 poems by Su Shi. Volumes 1 and 2 are chronological parts, supplementing Su Shi's life events and synchronizing with the chronology of Dongpo's Ci. By combining the ups and downs of Su Shi's life, we can see the transformation of his Ci writing style. At the same time, 10 calligraphy works of Su Shi are selected in chronological order. The third volume is the chronological part, arranged in order of tune. Based on the original chronology of the original book, a new chapter titled "Epitaphic Epitaph of the Dead Brother Zhan Duanming" written by Su Che is added so that readers can have a more comprehensive understanding of Su Shi's life. Different from other versions on the market, "Dongpo Yuefu Elegant Collection" emphasizes the word "chronology". Through editing and design, Su Shi's life is systematically sorted out based on the 342 poems he wrote throughout his life. This book is not about "what Su Dongpo was", but "why he became Su Dongpo". Therefore, it is not only a collection of words, but also an autobiography of Su Dongpo's life. When readers read the complete set of products, they will have a more comprehensive and three-dimensional understanding of Su Dongpo.
