Only by understanding the emotions of the characters can you truly understand the work. Li Qingzhao, as a representative poet of the Wanyue School, has few surviving works. "Shu Yu Ci" is a work handed down from generation to generation by Li Qingzhao, a representative of the Wanyue Ci School and "the most talented woman throughout the ages". In the early stage of his poems, he wrote mostly about his leisurely life, while in the later stage, he mostly lamented his life experience and had a sentimental mood. In terms of form, he makes good use of line drawing techniques, creates his own channels, and uses clear and beautiful language. This version adds detailed annotations, making it easy to read and appreciate the beautiful artistic conception of the words. At the same time, there are 156 beautiful illustrations, printed in full color and four colors, which are worth collecting.

"Shu Yu Ci" is a love work written by Li Qingzhao, the "most talented woman of all time", and a representative work of the graceful Ci school in the Song Dynasty. It is named after the Shu Yu Spring in front of Li Qingzhao's former residence in Jinan. When the poet was young, he and his close friend Zhao Mingcheng were separated several times, and he felt a lot of lovesickness and melancholy. Later, he experienced the separation between husband and wife and the turmoil of the current situation, which made him even more lonely and desolate. He found his own way in writing lyrics, using his beautiful talents and thoughts to express elegant language and wonderful interpretation of music. Yang Shen of the Ming Dynasty commented: "Li Yian is also known as the best lyricist in the Song Dynasty."

This book contains nearly a hundred poetry works by Li Qingzhao. Each work is divided into several sections: original texts, annotations, translations, and comments. Some rare words are also phoneticized to facilitate readers to read them easily. In addition, the five articles collected in the appendix at the back of the book, including "On Ci" and "Da Ma Fu", also fully reflect her artistic achievements of "the most popular poems in the south of the Yangtze River and the best literary works in the north".
