Who Can Live a Good Life in Russia?
Literature谁能在俄罗斯过好日子
(russia) Nekrasov
Nekrasov's masterpiece "Who Can Live Well in Russia" published from 1866 to 1876 is a long narrative poem. It tells the story of seven farmers who met by chance and traveled around the country on a "magic tablecloth" in search of the answer to the question "Who can live a good life in Russia?" This plot is used as a plot to vividly reproduce the reality of Russia after the serfdom reform in 1861. It depicts different characters such as farmers, landowners, monks, merchants and revolutionaries, exposing the cruelty and deception of the tsarist authorities, and shows that Russia at that time was a place without happiness, and only those who fought and dedicated their lives for the interests of the people were happy. The long poem adopts the form of folk song, integrating satire, narrative and lyricism, and has many innovations in art.
