"Restore the most beautiful era of poetry." Russian modernism refers to the three major poetry schools of Symbolism, Acmeism, and Futurism that dominated the Russian poetry scene at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. His achievements in the fields of poetic exploration and artistic creation have had a profound and far-reaching influence. Modernist poetry is still a literary treasure trove that still needs to be explored. It produced world-class poetry giants such as Blok, Agmatova, Mayakovsky, and Mandelstam. "Selected and Translated Russian Modernist Poems" compiled and translated by Zheng Tiwu was first published by Shanghai Translation Publishing House in 1996 and has been well received and loved by professionals and poetry lovers. For more than 20 years, the translator has always wanted to revise and reprint it, but due to busy schedules, it has been delayed for a long time. At the end of last year, the translator was finally able to find time to systematically revise and supplement the anthology, eventually forming the current three-volume set. The three volumes are respectively "Selected Poems of the Russian Symbolist School", "Selected Poems of the Russian Acme School" and "Selected Poems of the Russian Futurist Poems", which contain more than 800 representative works by 60 modernist poets, including 22 Symbolist poets such as Gippius, Bryusov, Balmont, Blok, Bely, Annansky and Ivanov3 There are more than 20 poems by 14 people including Gumilev, Akhmatova, Mandel-tsujitam and Georgy Ivanov from the Acme School, and about 300 poems by 24 people from the Futurist School including Khlebnikov, Mayakovsky, the Burlyuk Brothers, Kruchonekh, Guro, Kamensky and Severyanin.
