Zhao Heng (1865-1928), also known as Xiangfan, was born in Jizhou, Hebei Province (now Jizhou). Guangxu was a disciple of the famous Tongcheng school masters Wu Rulun, He Tao and Wang Shunan. Xu Shichang was appointed president of the Republic of China, and Zhao Heng was appointed secretary-general. He wrote eight volumes of "Collected Works of Xuyizhai", which was published in the 21st year of the Republic of China. Li Gangji (1873-1914), courtesy name Gangji, was born in Nangong, Zhili.
