In terms of time, it mainly collects and compiles the folk tales of various foxes, ghosts and gods, karma, admonishing good and punishing evil, etc. Before and after that era, or strange anecdotes heard personally; in terms of space and geography, the scope covers the whole of China as far away as Urumqi, Yining, and south to Yunnan and Guizhou.
