This book is the Inka's narration and commentary on the lives and deeds of the kings of their empire and everything in their country. The material of this work comes from three aspects. One is the memories of the ancient country by the author's maternal relatives, the princes of Inca. The other is what the author heard and witnessed in his motherland since he was a child. The third is quotes from Spanish writers who compiled the history of Peru before him. The author organically organizes the three to comprehensively describe the history of the Inca Empire and all aspects of Inca society. At the same time, he puts forward his own opinions and judgments on the content involved and the authenticity of the Spanish writers' writings, thus forming a complete "review".
