(ming Dynasty) Xu Wei

This book is a collection of two historical novels from the Ming Dynasty, "The Heroes and Martyrs" and "The Heroes and Martyrs Continued". "Biography of Heroes and Martyrs", "Biography of Heroes and Martyrs of Huangming Kaiyun", "Biography of Heroes and Martyrs of Huangming", and "Yunheqizong", this book does not name the author. According to "Ye Huo Bian" by Shen Defu of the Ming Dynasty, this book was written by Guo Xun, the Marquis of Wu Ding during the Jiajing period, in order to take credit for his ancestor Guo Ying. Guo Ying's achievements in the "Biography of Heroes" mainly refer to the fact that Guo Ying killed Chen Youliang with one arrow in the Battle of Poyang Lake. Taizu praised Guo Ying for defeating a million soldiers with one arrow, and later Guo Ying was named the Marquis of Wu Ding. Guo Xun was his fifth great-great-grandson. He was later imprisoned and died for taking advantage of his favor and monopolizing power. There is also one titled "Jishan Xu Weiwen Changfu compiled". Xu Wenchang was a famous writer, calligrapher and painter in the middle of the Ming Dynasty. Neither argument is credible.
