"Shi Hua Lu Quan Jian" is a notebook novel written by Cao Chen in the late Ming Dynasty, imitating Liu Yiqing's "Shi Shuo Xin Yu" in the Southern Dynasty. It was written before April of the 43rd year of Wanli. Based on the materials from the Han Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty and what he saw and heard at the time, the author collected more than a thousand warning words from ancient and modern people, divided into eighteen categories such as "wisdom words, famous words, heroic words, crazy words, and proud words". He only recorded speeches but not deeds, and only oral conversations but not written notes.
