(korean) Jang Hyun-geun

260K0

Starting from the etymology of concepts, it integrates three thousand years of Chinese intellectual history and discovers its significance that transcends the times. From the perspective of the history of concepts, this book explains the evolution of 12 groups of concepts in ancient Chinese history, including "politics, destiny, character, country, king, subjects, morality, benevolence and righteousness, etiquette, loyalty and filial piety, public and private, and Huayi". These 12 groups of 24 concepts have different original meanings, but they have each experienced integration and changes in the context of political and social development. We seem to be familiar with these words and use them frequently, but we rarely think about them in depth, let alone the huge changes that have occurred in their historical evolution. Based on literature, this book carefully analyzes these key texts in the history of political thought, revealing its original meaning and its changing characteristics and context in the historical process. It is hailed as a model work for "from primary school to Confucian classics" in the study of intellectual history.
