It has the unique reasoning characteristics of detective novels and is also full of Edo style. Lin Buhu, whose original name was Hasegawa Kaitaro (January 17, 1900 - June 29, 1935). Lin Buhu, Gu Rangci and Mu Yima are all his pen names. In 1918, he went to the United States to study, working and studying part-time, and returned to Japan in 1924. After that, he published many works including ghost stories, historical novels and detective novels under various pen names, and he can be called a prolific writer. When he died suddenly due to illness at the age of 35, there were still many works left unfinished, which was a pity.
