希罗多德《历史》:描述历史的均衡
(japan) Zhongwu Zhelang
Compared with later historians such as Thucydides, Herodotus, the "Father of History," paid more attention to conveying the meaning of history. In addition to telling ancient stories exactly as they were, he also added creative content to his "historical" records, making the book "History" more like another legend about the world from some angles. The first part of the book starts from the life of Herodotus and discusses the writing process of "History" and the way it records history and the world; the second part analyzes the text of "History" and puts forward the term "wheel" to highlight Herodotus's proposition of world balance.
