Endlessly looking for a job; forced to live in parents' house due to low wages; excessive pressure from people around to get married; career, husband, and children, nothing; the "busy poor" who are highly educated and employed but living in poverty; the "poor women" who have many friends and are cheerful and optimistic but have low incomes; "part-time workers" who are trapped in PUA and bullying in the workplace and become depressed;... This book is an interview survey of 47 women by Yuko Iijima. The author takes a direct look at the poor women in Japan and conducts a detailed examination of their living conditions, employment, marriage and childbearing status. It was found that compared with men, who are always at the center of society, women are often marginalized and then shrouded in a huge shadow, especially poor women. Poverty has become the first thing that women need to face when they are independent, and it is a bloody and cruel truth.
