"The Story of the Past" is a representative work of Japanese classical literature. It tells the folk legends of Japan in the late Heian period. The book has more than thirty volumes in total. This book selects the most exciting and representative chapters in "The Story of the Past", such as the story of dog-headed silk that is widely circulated in Japan, the legend of the ancient tomb of the chopsticks, the story of the fox fairy and the spirit turtle repaying kindness, and the secret of the revenge of the resentful spirit...
