In 1689, Matsuo Basho and his disciple Kawai Soryo started from Tokyo and marched northward for 2,400 kilometers. The spectacular scenery along the way inspired the two of them to have infinite poetry and insights. The road we walked back then has become the famous "Secret and Thin Path". When traveling on foot more than 300 years ago, the journey was difficult and dangerous, there was a lack of means of transportation, and it was common to eat in the wind and sleep in the open air. Basho, this strange old man, never tires of it, going to distant places on crutches, which is a kind of cultural journey. This character is evident from the name Basho gave himself. When Basho moved to his new home, he planted a Basho plant inside, so others called the hermitage Bajiao hermitage, and the owner of the hermitage was naturally called "Bajiao". Why do you love bananas so much? The teacher has his own way of saying it: "... Huaisu wrote on banana leaves, while Zhang Hengqu saw the new leaves and was determined to study diligently. He did not adopt the other two, but he was leisurely and comfortable in the shadows, and loved his fragile body." At this point, Matsuo Basho, recognized as the greatest haiku poet in Japanese history and an unprecedented one, was born.
