"The Wind Whispers to the Grass and Trees" is a collection of poems published by the Japanese poet Yamamura Kutori in the 7th year of Taisho. It compiles more than 120 poems written by Yamamura Kutori in about three years when his collection of poems "Holy Triangular Glass" received bad reviews, lost his job, and lay on the bed with tuberculosis and coughing up blood. The poems use extremely simple everyday language and express the hymns of nature with tenderness. They are written to human beings, to time, to the land, to pain and joy, and to everything on the earth. The poetic style is simple, natural, positive and full of power, and is full of the humanitarian thoughts of the Baihua School.
