Man
Literature男人
(italian) Oriana Farage
In 1968, Panagoulis was arrested and imprisoned for assassinating the leader of the Greek military junta. He was pardoned in 1973. Two days later, the world-renowned "Interview Queen" Farage went to Athens to interview him, and the two quickly fell in love. On May 1, 1976, Panagoulis died in a mysterious car accident. In order to commemorate his lover, Farage lived in seclusion for three years and concentrated on writing the book "Man". The title of the book comes from a conversation when Farage first met Panagoulis: "Alex, what does it mean to be a man?" "It means to have courage and dignity; to believe in humanity; to love without allowing love to be a safe haven; to fight and win. Pretty much what Kipling wrote in his poem "If." And you, what do you think a man should be?" "I would say that a man should be like you, Alex."
