"Prehistoric Society in China's Northern Frontier Region" edited by Israel Gidi uses methods such as geographic information systems, statistics, visual and spatial analysis, and draws on theories and concepts from Western sociology and anthropology to conduct an in-depth analysis of archaeological materials from the late 2nd millennium BC to the early 1st millennium BC in China's northern frontier region, including the Northeastern region. It then depicts the social, political and economic development trajectories of the northern region, and provides a new perspective for us to re-examine and understand the social development process of the northern region.
