Drama Gadgets
Literature戏剧小工具篇
(germany) Bertolt Brecht
Brecht's earliest texts explaining his new views on drama were mostly written in the form of explanatory scripts, such as "Postscript on "The Rise and Fall of Mahacony City"", "Postscript on "The Triangle Opera"", etc. After Hitler came to power, Brecht went into exile abroad. He was too busy running around and devoting himself to the anti-fascist struggle, and had no time to organize systematic theories. "Drama Gadgets" was written by the author in Switzerland on his way back to China after the war. It can be said to be Brecht's first systematic theoretical work and is known as the "New Poetics".
