The Wandering Story of a Bitter Child
General Fiction苦儿流浪记
(french) Original Work By Hector Marlowe
This book tells the story of the protagonist, little Remy, who is an abandoned child of unknown origin and was adopted by a French farmer. Remy was kind and innocent by nature, and lived a poor but peaceful life under the care of his loving mother. After his evil adoptive father returned to his hometown, he sold him to a wandering entertainer with high moral character but mysterious identity, so he kept company with animals and made a living by performing sideshows. After the new owner was unjustly imprisoned, he met a kind-hearted lady and lived a luxurious yacht life. In order to train him to become a real human being, the owner took him away and they started wandering again. On a snowy night, the animals in the art class were brutally mauled by wolves, and the owner froze to death. He was lucky enough to be adopted by a flower farmer. This "safe haven" could not be maintained soon, so he had to join the ranks of "black coal" again, but he encountered a mining accident again, and he narrowly escaped death before seeing the light of day again. After learning about his life experience, he was desperate to find his relatives and fell into the hands of his fake biological father who was suspected of being a gangster. Finally, with the help of his good friends, he finally found his biological mother. It turned out that she was the noble lady, and the story ended with a happy ending. The book has been adapted into movies, cartoons and TV series many times, and has been welcomed by generations of readers around the world.
