"The Joy of Letters" is an aphoristic work presented in a meditative style, divided into forty-six fragments, arranged in alphabetical order. The author talks about desire, examines the body, sees the confusion of language as an opportunity to reach a state of bliss, and determines that interruption can induce happiness, so he adopts the form of short film writing. The relationship between language and ideology is also a major topic. This translation also adds two articles, "Supplement" and "Literary Theory", adding articles and fragments in which the author discusses writing and images.
