Lisa, a Jewish woman, is plagued by hysteria and can often foresee catastrophic episodes about the future. She turned to Freud for help, hoping to find out the root cause of her illness from her repressed memories through psychoanalytic therapy. But are those crazy dreams just reflections of past trauma? After treatment, Lisa's disease gradually improved. Not long after, World War II broke out, and she and her son were about to be deported to the "Jewish ghetto."
