"Translation 40" is a set of world famous works and translated works by famous writers with prominent positions in literary history carefully selected and published by Shanghai Translation Publishing House on the occasion of its 40th anniversary. The "Translation 40" book series was thus created. The "Translation 40" works cover literary classics from English, French, German, Japanese, Russian and other countries, including 40 works such as "The Count of Monte Cristo", "The Red and the Black", "Pride and Prejudice", "Anna Karenina", "Gone with the Wind", and "Faust".
