The Odyssey consists of 24 volumes and 12,110 lines. It tells the story of Odysseus, the hero of the Greek coalition and King of Ithaca, who drifted on the sea for ten years after the Trojan War. After going through hardships and dangers, he finally returned to his homeland and reunited with his wife.
