"Water Man" is the story of a "frustrated person". The protagonist Trimpel is "not established at thirty": he got divorced and lost his wife and best friend at the same time; he delayed his graduation and muddled through his thesis; he suffered from a hidden disease, but he was timid and did not dare to undergo surgery. He seemed to be careless and uncaring, and continued his frustrated life heartlessly, becoming a hollow man filled with straw. However, after leaving without saying goodbye again, he no longer wanted to be a member of the paralysis. He wants to slap the moldy pillow and let the dreams fly out of the feathers again.
