Like Salt Originally, I thought that no matter how time moved forward, it had nothing to do with me. It seems like it will always be like that. Now that I am 22, I am beginning to realize its power. We all have to keep our heads down and move forward into society. Those moments of innocence must be shot away, and only by being thick-skinned and abandoning shame can one survive in society.
