Black Mandala
An old story I wrote two years ago. Lately I've been thinking of writing an IF story, Summer Light Years: a school romance about "what if Li Rui had been the one to find Xie Lan?" My related story, A Hundred-Foot Tower, is almost finished too, and I'm planning to publish it next month. So first, I'm polishing this one up and posting it. The overall style and plot won't change; I'll just fix typos and things like that. * As for the story itself, I firmly believe it's pure love. Love-at-first-sigh

Never Forget in the Waning Years (Blind and Mute) 岁晚不能忘（瞎哑）
Switch. No taking sides: either of them can top. If you can't handle that, run. There's also an extra with Hua Xie as a guest character, and they're switches there too. Theme: This pair is so good together. Maybe I'm just that good at writing them.

A Towering Peril 百尺危楼
"There's an ancient Chinese poem that goes, 'The tower rises a hundred feet, and I can pluck the stars by hand.'" "You may know that when I was young... things weren't easy for me. Luckily, there was always a star shining down on me, so the darkness never felt quite so dark." "Later, I was fortunate enough to meet that star again as an adult..." "I let myself entertain an impossible hope, thinking that if I climbed the tower, I could pluck the star from the sky." "I made every preparation. I con

Dark River (Ping Xie) 暗河（瓶邪）
A Ping Xie story set in Yucun. I wanted to delete my account on Lofter, so I moved this here. I'll also finish the next volume while I'm at it. I do like this story, after all. First-person narration. I'll do my best to follow my understanding of the original characters and what I consider to be a reasonable emotional and logical progression, but everyone interprets them differently, and all fanworks carry the potential risk of being out of character. If that's hard for you to accept, please don

Looking Toward Spring Mountain 望春山
"A cold fire glimmers beyond the woods. But when spring comes, and plants and trees burst into leaf, the spring mountain will come into view." Wang Wei, A Letter from the Mountains to Scholar Pei Di * Narcissus. Also, an old story I really like. Theme: He knows clearly that he's a madman. He's willing to be one.

The Peach Blossom Thief 桃花贼
The leader of the demonic sect and a great master of the righteous path. A cute top and a powerful bottom. There is a reversal, and all in all, the top isn't completely top and the bottom isn't entirely bottom. If you're very particular about tags, this probably isn't for you. * It's an old story, but it really is sweet. Theme: Love is love.

Wind Tugs at My Sleeves 风牵襟袖
God is not God. Man is not quite man. A king is no king. An island is no island. * A little story I wrote some time ago. I still love it. Switch. Theme: A hundred years upon a hundred years, the seas change and the world transforms.
