The Shou in Qiliu's works are all flesh and blood, tough and unyielding, and do not exist dependent on Gong (ps: there is no intention to belittle Gong). They have been beaten up by the world and are disappointed with mankind, but they still stand up when mankind encounters disasters. They are cold but kind (not the kind of excessive love, and will not forgive the mistakes of evil people just because they pity them. They have their own values, which may be different from normal people, but they are the most suitable for themselves).
I was thinking before, will the characters in the novel understand the pain of the third dimension, will they be disappointed in the world, and will they escape? Although I have read very realistic articles before, I felt a little weird (without disparaging other authors), until I saw the article written by Qiliu. In her writing, people are complex. They are complex and changeable, and will retaliate against society because of their own experiences. However, when it comes to catastrophes such as the destruction of the world, they are all willing to put aside their hatred (except for some characters) and dedicate themselves to this imperfect world that they even hate.
