It is a very good BE article. I think what is even better is the idea that the author wants to convey: there is no difference between immortals and mortals.
This is a novel about a female emperor in a male-dominated world, and the narrative is told from the perspective of the male protagonist. I like the author's empress sister very much. And the author's writing is very good, but it's a shame.
