I think the author of the extra chapter made a mistake in the direction of his description. The main text has a good grasp of the character of Gong, who is a huge fan, but the extra chapter feels like he has written Gong into a character who is both serious and independent at the same time.
In the extra story, Gong starts talking about his boyfriend. The premise is that Gong has sex with his good friend on a regular basis (in my eyes, these two can already be considered together, and Gong's behavior is cheating), and then he makes other boyfriends, and then writes about the boyfriend being jealous of his good friend. At this point, if the boyfriend discovers the inappropriate relationship between his good friend and Gong, and then joins in angrily and starts competing, I won't think there is any problem.
But what the author wrote is that after the boyfriend found out about Gong's cheating, he didn't accept the fact. I'm biased, but the character in the extra story is a perfect victim. I can't see anything wrong with him in the plot written by the author. Gong pursues him proactively. He has never been in love before and is moved by Gong. He finds out that Gong cheated on him and chooses to forgive. However, Gong firmly disagrees with ending the love relationship with his good friend, so he chooses to break up with Gong. His outlook is too normal and he is out of place in this heartthrob novel (it even breaks Gong's charming character a bit).
The author may have wanted to write about a beautiful first love, so he wrote this story very sensibly. As long as this story is more hysterical, goes crazy after finding out about Gong's cheating, does things that are not good for Gong, or does things that ruin his goodwill, I wouldn't find this episode disgusting.
