I read the novel that was supplemented by the drama. The novel is great and so is the drama. Some parts of the drama are better handled, but I think the dialogue in episodes 11 and 12 of the drama is better in the original novel.
After the death of the special forces soldier, he was reborn as a rookie detective with the same name.
Then his keen observation and agility were recognized and he successfully joined the criminal investigation detachment.
The heroine's family is a bit annoying in the early stage, and the second male lead is a bit disgusting.
The rest is fine
The case is solved quickly and without any delay, which is nice because the pace is tight.
The first one or two cases were just average, and I felt there were some logic issues. The later plots were more exciting, but I think her other three JC stories were smoother. Too much involvement from the suspect's perspective always felt weird. Each case had various plot twists and turns, and finally they were strung together. Her criminal investigation stories have always been pretty good.
The pace of this book is finally not that fast, but it's still exciting.
The male protagonist is a steely straight man with 0 emotional intelligence. He is arrogant and has a sharp tongue. He speaks directly and sometimes even gives hints with his eyes.
Hahahaha, so sometimes the heroine conveys words tactfully for him
Except that I personally don't like the gag where you have to physically contact the heroine to retrieve the memory fragments.
Deduct one star for this awkward, tangled and pretentious emotional drama! The heroines of the love line and the career line feel like two heroines. The career line is rational, strong and calm, while the love scenes are awkward, pretentious, tangled and dilly-dally.
