But I like the two chapters about General Tiance and Emperor Wu the most. The former's description of the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty was very exciting; the latter's story from Xiongnu to Xiaohuo to Wu Gu, especially the behavior of Emperor Wu after Wu Gu, made me change my view on Emperor Wu (I was influenced by a certain novel before reading this book, and I quite disliked Emperor Wu [laughing and crying]).
I have no memory of Emperor Wu, it seems I didn't read it after reading it for a while; I also forgot about Emperor Qin, I just remember that I didn't like it very much.
Some scenes are very interesting, such as "The emperor is rich all over the world, why should he compete with the strong men for the profit of Qi Zhu", but compared to the author's voice diary and Xuanwumen, I don't like this book very much. Especially compared to the Diary of Voices of the Heart, this deus ex machina from the Three Kingdoms period is a bit too much.
In addition, if you are looking for Wei Huo, I actually recommend the Da Han World in Xuanwu Gate next door. This Wei Huo has less plot and no highlights.
If you are here for Liu Che and are not Liu Che's villain, I suggest you skip the modern plot and watch Han Dynasty directly.
