I read it in one sitting. I loved the hostess setting so much that it was hard to find a meal replacement.
Interstellar world view, the old-fashioned Zerg struggle, but with the addition of elements of purifiers and beast masters. The original text also explains this set of logic clearly, which is very good.
However, the plot development in the later period was relatively rushed, and many things were just brushed off without being explained clearly.
The overall shortcomings do not hide the good points.
